If you have ever attended my one-day Private Practice Success Workshops, you would know that I start all of these by doing a round table introduction, where I ask each person attending, to share their NUMBER 1 question that they have for me on the day.
I do this, because – although my content is pretty comprehensive – I want to ensure that nobody leaves without having their most worrying question answered.
I usually preface it by asking…
“On those nights when you wake up at 2am and your mind (in its futile attempt to be ‘helpful’ in that moment) offers up your biggest worry, what is that?”
Although I do have by now gotten the whole gambit of possible challenges, I have been noticing more and more a particular theme emerging….
A theme that has emerged through people sharing answers like this:
“No matter how hard I try, I just can’t get the balance right between clinical work and business management – something always has to give.”
“I have a full client load and just can’t get my paperwork done – I am always behind and it drags me down with anxiety as I know it’s a Medicare requirement.”
“Balance, balance, balance – I KNOW I need it, but it just seems impossible to achieve.”
“I’m sick and tired of spending my weekends doing work, I need more work-life balance.”
“How do I know that it’s time to drop my clinical work in order to focus more on business development and business management?”
“I never have enough TIME to get anything done, it’s sooo frustrating, as I have all these great ideas of things I want to create and implement, but I have no time.”
Yip, you’ve guessed it…
The BIG culprit is Time-Management or to use a more accurate term TIME-MASTERY. Because that is the true goal. You don’t want to only MANAGE your time. No, you want to MASTER YOUR TIME.
I’m glad to say that I’m on the case with what has turned out to be one of my most popular and high demand programs, being Time-Mastery in Private Practice.
Now, this program will not be covering the ‘usual’ time-management strategies that you can find by just doing a quick Google search – and I’m sure you’ve done that, tried that, but are still struggling – because what you need goes BEYOND that.
This program has been specifically designed based on the industry specific challenges that we – as Allied Health Professionals – face in the day to day practice of being a helping professional and the day to day running of our practices.
